Sisterhood is partnering with Jewish Family Services to sponsor Hanukkah gifts for two local families and a senior in our community. Because Hanukkah arrives early this December, all gifts must be claimed, wrapped, and dropped off no later than Thursday, November 12. Sisterhood's Thanksgiving Basket Project supports families at Greenbriar Elementary School. Groups or individuals commit to purchasing and assembling a basket of holiday meal essentials. Once you pledge, we provide the full shopping list and delivery guidelines. Prefer not to shop? Monetary donations are gratefully accepted and our committee will shop on your behalf. Assembled baskets are delivered to Greenbriar on Saturday, November 21.

Alongside our Thanksgiving baskets, Sisterhood provides warm clothing to students and siblings at Greenbriar Elementary School ahead of the winter season. We are gathering new or gently used winter coats and footwear, as well as brand-new hats, gloves, socks, and underwear to distribute directly to families in need.

Sisterhood collects food items to pack and deliver bags to Greenbriar Elementary School students prior to each of the four major school breaks: Fall Break, Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, and Spring Break. Our next packing and delivery date is Tuesday, November 17 for Thanksgiving break. Join us by donating food staples or volunteering to help pack and transport bags.
